How to find out your TIN online. How to get a TIN certificate by ordering it online

Good day!

I want to say right away that I have nothing to do with the portal of state services (and generally with the tax one)! And I do not want to change or distort the meaning of the website of the Federal Tax Service and state services. Everything that is written below is based on your personal (and close people) experience of obtaining a TIN. Purpose of the article: to supplement and clarify some points that are not obvious to many users on government sites.

I'll start right away, right off the bat ... In general, the certificate of assignment of the TIN is an ordinary sheet of A4 paper, on which you can find 12 numbers (each person has his own unique number). In some cases, without this certificate, you can go anywhere, for example, you may be asked for it when applying for a job, when opening a bank account, when making various transactions (purchase and sale), etc.

Separately, I would like to note that if you did not even go to the tax office and did not ask to assign you a TIN, you most likely have the number itself (you just do not have an A4 sheet of paper, the certificate itself). Of course, I am now talking about the citizens of Russia who grew up and studied in their country. It is usually assigned upon reaching the age of 14, I may be wrong, but as I think, the information is sent by the educational institution where you study ...

In this article I will consider a couple of questions: how to find out what your TIN number is, and how to get an A4 piece of paper (i.e. certificate).

How to find out your TIN on the Internet

In some cases, you just need to know your TIN (even without a certificate). In order to receive a certificate (information) about your TIN, you will need a passport. Then go to one of the sites below.

Sites where you can find your TIN:

  1. FTS website: //service.nalog.ru/inn.do
  2. government services website: //www.gosuslugi.ru/pgu/fns/findInn

Then just enter your personal data (form as in the screenshot below). By the way, I want to note that the site is quite well designed, and if some field is not filled in (or is not filled in correctly), it will correct it and tell you how to enter the data correctly.

Form for entering personal data on the FTS website

After that, if you entered everything correctly (and you have a TIN), the site will provide you with the coveted numbers. There is nothing more, in my opinion, to comment on ...

How to apply for a TIN certificate via the Internet

An application submitted in advance on the Internet helps to save time and not to go to the territorial office of the Federal Tax Service 2 times: first write an application, then receive a certificate. In addition, you will receive notifications of readiness (or unavailability) by e-mail. ) of your testimony. Agree, is it convenient?

By the way, in addition to your passport, you may need a second document - SNILS.

1) Address for submission of the application.

Regardless of whether you have a TIN or not, for some reason the service is still called "Registration of an individual with a tax authority on the territory of the Russian Federation" .

This page is located at this address: //service.nalog.ru/zpufl/

2) Filling out the application.

Next, you will have to fill out the application form in detail. In principle, filling in personal data does not cause any problems (the following data are indicated: basic information about the applicant, his citizenship and identity document, contact information, e-mail address).

The adventure can begin when you get to the choice and indication of the area, city. The fact is that apparently the site is still under development and not all territorial offices are included in the database ...

Note! If there is only a certain area in the "About place of residence" item, but your city itself is not, and thus it is impossible to register an application, then try to leave the "District" field empty and click "Next". Then, in the "City" field, select your city ...

3) The application is registered (completely filled in).

After the application has been completely filled in, you will see a message, something like:"The status of your application for registration of an individual with a tax authority on the territory of the Russian Federation, which has a registration number ******: the application has been registered."

Note! If the status of your application is a draft, then it will not be considered by the Federal Tax Service, resubmit the application (fill in the missing fields) in order to change the status of the application to registered.

Important! Enter only your valid e-mail address, it will receive notifications about the status of your application!

Another important point: remember or write down your application number! When you go to the tax office for a certificate, it may not turn out to be a very pleasant situation, if suddenly the inspector cannot find your application. Using this number, it will be easier and faster to find the application!

4) Change of status.

After a certain time, you will receive a notification by e-mail about the change in the status of your application. Something like this:"The status of your application for registration of an individual with a tax authority on the territory of the Russian Federation, which has a registration number ******: accepted for execution."

How long to wait for a change in the status of the application is difficult to say, in each territorial department it is individual. For example, it came to me after 5 days. By the way, the address of your territorial branch of the Federal Tax Service, its working hours, and a list of documents with which you need to come for a certificate will also be indicated (usually one passport is enough).

5) Visiting a branch of the Federal Tax Service .

At the appointed time, come with your passport (and other documents, if any were indicated in the letter), with the application number (I recommended saving / writing it down). The tax inspector, by the way, checks: the correctness of filling out the application for registration submitted via the Internet, according to the documents you submitted (it would be nice that there were no matches, otherwise they might force you to write the application again).

If everything is in order, then take your TIN certificate. You can practically not spend time at the tax office (if there is no queue, by the way, I recommend going in the morning) - 5-10 minutes! It's just that, most likely, your TIN certificate has long been printed with them: it is enough to take it from a folder and hand it over to you ...

PS

In general, the very idea of the service of filing an application via the Internet, in my opinion, is different (after all, the XXI century )! The only upsetting moment: the interface of the FTS website has not yet been finalized, and there are territorial offices that have not been included in the website database. But I think they will quickly fix it ...

That's all for me. By the way, perhaps some moments by the time of your reading will change, tk. it can be seen that they are working with the site. For the additions - I will be grateful.

All the best!
