How to create a blacklist on your phone: 3 ways (we block calls from intrusive callers)

Good day!

Calls from some callers sometimes lead to hassle and wasted time 😒. To get rid of such intrusive "persons" (once and for all) - you can add these numbers to black list* .

Fortunately, this can be done both on a fancy smartphone and on an ordinary mobile phone ...

* Note!

Blacklist is a list of phone numbers that will be automatically blocked (i.e. they will not be able to reach you). Usually, each subscriber has his own (it is formed in the process of using the device).

In the post below, I will present 3 simple ways to create and form a black list (I think, in the age of digital spam, this will not be superfluous).

How to add a number to the blacklist

Method 1: standard smartphone tools (Android)

And so, if you have a modern smartphone on Android, then blocking all unnecessary is as easy as shelling pears.

Let's say someone called you and offered a loan 😒 (which is no longer a rarity). To block this subscriber - just go to the call list, press (and hold) this number, until the additional appears. menu: in it select "Into a black list" ... See example below.

Option 1, how to add to the blacklist

Second option: by opening the desired number (subscriber) from the address book (call list) - click on the link "Yet" and select "Into a black list" .

Option 2

The third option: to view the entire blacklist - you need to go to the call list, then open the subsection "Blocked" and open the options. See example below.

Among them, you can familiarize yourself in detail with the black and white * lists, call rules.

* How the whitelist works: any numbers not included in this list will not be able to reach you!

Option 3

Note: the above screenshots are relevant for the modern version of Android 9.0

Method 2: special. application (Android)

If the standard functions are not enough (or they do not exist / do not work), you can use the special. application (with the same name; link below).

Black list

After installing and launching the application - click on the plus sign in the corner of the screen and add the numbers you are tired of from the list of calls and contacts. In general, that's all - the application has already started its work! Agree - it's very simple and fast !?

Blacklist application

By the way, the application allows you to block not only calls, but also SMS. In addition, it is possible to set the software operation schedule, view the call log (from subscribers from the blacklist 👌), create filters for blocking numbers (for example, you do not want to be called from the Moscow region - just enter the numbers starting with 495 into blocking. ..).

A few more options

Method 3: through the operator's personal account (for ordinary mobile phones)

This method is relevant for ordinary mobile phones, on which applications cannot be installed (and there is no such option in the standard capabilities of the device).

Fortunately, all mobile operators have such a service, for example, for Megafon it costs about 40-50 rubles per month.

I will show below in 3 steps how to connect it

1) First you need to go to the operator's personal account (how to do this at Megafon: //ocomp.info/megafon-lichnyiy-kabinet.html).

2) Next, open the section "Options and services / Additional services" and opposite services "Black list" push the button "To plug" (at the moment the service costs 1.5 rubles / day).

3) After, with the help of simple text commands, you can easily and quickly form a black list:

  • get control instructions: *130# ✆
  • to add a number to the list - you need to send an SMS to 5130 with the following content: + (space) XXXXXXXXXXX (example: + 79262001111);
  • to remove a number from the list: - 79262001111 (similarly, but instead of "+" we use "-");
  • to receive a list of numbers in the black list: write in SMS (without quotes) "LIST" and send to number 5130.
