How can you find out whose phone number it is? Someone calls and is silent ...

Good day!

Probably, almost everyone on the phone (from time to time) receives calls from unknown numbers: sometimes, at the other end, they are simply silent, sometimes the connection is broken after the first "hello ...".

And in some cases doubts creep in: "What if it's ...? Hmm, maybe first find out whose phone number it is, and then call back, if that ... (otherwise they'll charge a certain amount of money for the call)".

It is quite logical reasoning, and in this note, I decided to give some of the simplest, open and available ways to verify a phone number. 👌

On my own behalf, I will add that the methods below help in more than half of the cases it is easy to recognize the person or organization that bothers you (of course, unless they are deliberately hiding from you at the other end).

So...

👉 Option 1

And so, the easiest and fastest way to find out the photo, name and surname of the caller is to use the most popular applications: Viber, WhatsApp, Skype, Telegram.

For example, in Viber, it is enough to activate the function "Add contact" , enter the subscriber's number, and woo-a-la, if a person is registered on the network, then you can see his name and photo (though not everyone post their real data, but still ...). See example below. 👇

Of course, for more reliable information, you need to go over all the listed applications.

By the way, as soon as you find out the name of the subscriber (for example) or some other information (e-mail, nickname, etc.), you can try to do a search and, according to this information, too.

Sometimes such step-by-step cross-queries help you learn a lot without leaving 2-3 applications ...

👉 Option 4

Specials have been released for smartphones. applications that allow you to block (add to the blacklist) unwanted numbers. In these applications, often, there is a built-in database in which numbers are entered that "get" many subscribers (moreover, this happens very quickly ...).

Thus, when you receive a call from these numbers, the application will prompt that this call is coming from the bank, from the credit department ... (often even the name of the organization from where you are called from is reported ...). See screenshot below. 👇

👉 Option 5: Caller ID from Yandex

If your version is Android 6.0 (or higher), then a very good solution may be to use a caller ID from 👉 Yandex (link to Google Play).

Moreover, the application itself is already preinstalled on most smartphones, and you just need to turn it on ...

This is done simply: launch the application Yandex , go to it customization and open the caller ID (green shield with a tube, see the screenshot below).

Turn on the caller ID (Yandex)

Next, turn on the identifier (and give permission to access your contacts). And, in fact, that's all: now, even if they call you from an unknown number, Yandex can tell you who it is (for example, "Settlement center", "Offer from a bank", etc.). See screenshot below. 👇

The determinant works!
