Often, when texting, a smiley (or emoji) inserted in time can very accurately express our attitude or mood on a particular issue.
In addition, interesting "icons" ✌ help to "dilute" the text, make it less monotonous and make the reader pay attention to some interesting points (I often use this on my blog ☝).

If the real keyboard does not allow you to call the socket with emoticons - use the virtual touch! By the way, a useful thing in some cases ...
To activate it - right-click (right-click) on the taskbar and in the menu that appears, click on the item "Show touch keyboard button" ... See screenshot below.

Next, click LMB on the keyboard icon that appears next to the clock.

Then, at the bottom of the screen, a virtual keyboard will "pop up" - there will be a special keyboard on it. button for calling emoticons (located next to "Ctrl").

If you work with Word documents, then you don't have to look for something else to find the necessary icons and emoticons, the main thing is to have a new version of the office.
If you open the section "Insert / Icons" - you will see thousands of different icons on various topics.

The size of each icon when inserted can be adjusted to suit your needs. Perhaps the only thing that can be a little upsetting is that they are black and white (at least for now ...).

Well, the last method works for all versions of Windows ...
It is enough to find the icon you need on some site (directory), copy it (Ctrl + C) and paste it into your text (Ctrl + V). I have a small selection of the most used icons and symbols on my blog (link below).

By the way, if you are going to paste the copied emoji into Word - pay attention to the paste options (to open the window - press RMB anywhere in the document): you can select either with or without formatting (in one case the icon will be colored, in the other - black and white).
