And some other services can become a good addition to YouTube ... Probably, it is worth making a reservation right away: they should be considered not as a full-fledged replacement, but as an analogue (alternative), on which you can find those videos that are not found anywhere else ...

RuTube is less popular than Yandex.Ether or Youtube, but it can be a good addition for them, because only here you can find exclusive videos and programs with TNT Premier (service is the official distributor of TV channels: STS, TNT, 2x2, TV3).
In addition, on the service you can find many funny and amusing amateur videos, selections, recommendations.
The player itself on the service is simpler and lighter than on Youtube (for some users, the video slows down less).
However, there are a couple of downsides worth noting:
- to view or upload your video on the service, you will need to register;
- periodically there are promo videos (advertising) that cannot be missed (distracting and annoying ...).
Otherwise, very good service. Recommended for acquaintance!

English-language video hosting, which was born back in 2004. It enjoys wide popularity abroad (it is little known on the Runet).
What is captivating about it: on the service you can find videos in a sufficiently high quality - up to 8K 360 (note: unlike YouTube, it does not "squeeze" videos so much).
Probably, it is worth focusing on a couple more points:
- Vimeo is (in my opinion) the best video player. It is smooth, responsive and you can see exactly what part of the video is already in the buffer (and what is still loading);
- each video on the site is assigned its own category - in some cases, this helps in finding the desired videos;
- there are also compilations from the service workers on Vimeo. There you can find some very interesting works.
In general, the service is interesting and deserves attention. If you know English. even at an average level - even more so! 👌
