The same goes for prices: dollars-dollars, but when every day you buy everything in rubles, and the money on your bank card is also in rubles, the price tags in USD are far from so clear and understandable.

By default, the main page of the store: www.aliexpress.com , we need a Russified version: //ru.aliexpress.com ... In general, if the store has correctly determined your geolocation, this page should open automatically, but this does not always happen ...

Delivery, language, currency
Next, pay attention to the top menu of the site (its right side). It has specials. a tab that allows you to select the interface language, currency, and country (city, region) for delivery. How it all looks is shown in the screenshot below.

Despite the fact that we converted the prices into rubles, in fact they also remained in dollars (the store simply automatically recalculates them at the current exchange rate of the Central Bank). Of course, if the ruble starts to fall against the dollar, the ruble prices will creep up (although the dollar price will stand still). Such is the arithmetic ... ☝

What about product description
In general, for many popular goods in Aliexpress there is already a Russian description, however, some points may not be fully translated (for example, a number of characteristics, some properties, etc.). It's gotten much better now, but a few years ago ...
Moreover, as a rule, most browsers (the same Chrome) offer auto-translation of pages, only if they are completely in a foreign language (but this does not happen with semi-Russian pages).
What can be done (for Chrome):
1) If you see somewhere a foreign text that you would like to understand before ordering a product, click in any free space on the web page with the right mouse button and in the menu that appears, select the option "Translate to Russian" .

2) Next, the browser will try to automatically display the page in Russian. If this fails, you will see the corresponding error (See screenshot below). In this case, click on the button "parameters" .

3) After, specify the source language - English (if instead of it there are some hieroglyphs on the page - then Chinese ), and click "Translate" .

4) Woo-a-la, the product description has been translated into great and mighty. Now you can understand what the Chinese mean ... See screenshot below.

Communication with sellers
If there is a dispute about some product or you want to ask to pack the product better (so that nothing happens to it on our mail), you will have to communicate with the seller in English (or Chinese, which is not easier 👌).
