Probably, many have heard on the news that some of the goods (sold in Russia) will be special. way be marked , and, of course, the price for them will become slightly higher ... (for example, shoes, furs, medicines, etc.).
By the way, in 2020. this "marking" is already in effect! And even more, it is planned that by the end of the year dairy products, bicycles, and other categories will also be labeled.
But what does it do? (except price increase 😉)
Now, having come to the store, you will be able to quickly look at all the ins and outs about the product (manufacturer, date of manufacture, route of transportation, etc.) using a smartphone using a barcode and understand whether the item is genuine, whether it is worth taking it. Sounds like not bad ?! 👌

Briefly on the merits
Now about how this whole check can be done ...
👉 STEP 1
First you need a modern smartphone with a camera that can read a barcode (at least 8 megapixels).
You need to install specials on it. app - 👉 "Honest Sign - Quality Check" (link to the Play Market; not advertising!). This application is free, designed to read: markings, QR codes, Data Matrix codes from the packaging of any * goods.

* Data Matrix is a special. a code generated individually for each item of goods (i.e. two different pairs of shoes from the same manufacturer - it will be different)!
You can check this code at any stage of the movement of goods. Also, this code is recorded in the state labeling system. "Honest Sign" ... All regulatory authorities in our country have access to this system.

Arriving at the store, find the product you are interested in and carefully examine its box.
In my example, I took shoes: acc. the barcode is printed on one of the edges of the package.

Next, you need to get your smartphone, launch the application "Honest Sign" and scan this barcode.
As a rule, if the code is not washed out by moisture and it is clearly printed, then scanning occurs without problems, within 1-2 seconds!

Further, the application tells us "a lot" of information about this product: manufacturer, name, brand, delivery route, marking code, expiration date, etc.
By the way, the application, based on the data received, automatically concludes whether the product is genuine. See example below (👇).

👉 What to do if the product has not passed our "check"
Sometimes it happens...
To begin with, it's worth saying that the check can end in different ways:
- the application can report that there is no information about this product in the database (this may mean that this category of product is not yet subject to a mandatory description);
- the application can also report that the code was applied in violation, and there is a high probability that the product is. fake (see screenshot below 👇). Of course, in this case it is better to refuse to purchase the product and allow the application to send information to the appropriate authorities ...

Further, depending on the type of violation, the complaint will be transferred to one of the control and supervisory services. After (ideally), the appeal should be checked: is everything in order with the seller and the manufacturer (of course, if there are a lot of calls, then the check will be accelerated ...).

PS
Despite all the criticism of this "innovation", I still think that the idea is inherently not bad! Especially when the question concerns medicines and products: whatever one may say, but labeled goods are at least somehow controlled and comply with some norms.
Another question is that in our country (often) any good idea can be "turned" into a "sad story." Let's hope this doesn't happen this time ... 👌
