Recently, Chinese online stores have gained insane (👀) popularity, where many products can be bought much cheaper and with great discounts. Actually, in this article I will show with an example how to order goods on Aliexpress (the most popular Chinese store, original name: AliExpress ).

Instructions for ordering goods on Aliexpress
The whole process of ordering and purchasing is conditionally divided into 5 steps. I think it will be easier for an unprepared user to figure it out this way. .
❶ STEP 1: check in

The first step to be completed is registration on the Aliexpress website (the link to the site is presented above).
To register: click on the corresponding link in the upper right menu of the site, see the screen below. By the way, you can use your profile in VK or Facebook (it's even faster this way).

❷ STEP 2: search and select the desired product. How to choose...
After you have registered and entered the site, you can start searching for a product. The easiest search option (so as not to go through the menu) is to simply enter the desired product into the search bar at the top of the site (my example is a "flash drive").
Please note that Aliexpress offered me hundreds of products of various manufacturers and modifications. Using the menu on the side, at the top, you can find a product according to a variety of criteria: with free shipping; highly rated and popular; see new items, etc.
For beginners: I recommend sorting products by the number of orders (see screenshot below). The essence of the secret is that a bad product even from a bad seller will not be ordered in hundreds and thousands! If a product is ordered, then it is at least worth the money. In general, when you find a product you like, open the page with it (simply by clicking on it with the left mouse button).
Secrets of choosing a product on Aliexpress
Next, select the product characteristics that you require. In my case, there are not so many of them: the color of the flash drive, its size (capacity), and the delivery option. After that, you will see the total cost (see the screen below - 316.69 rubles). Please note that there are often discounts on Aliexpress (for example, for various holidays). In my case, I managed to get a 50% discount!
Important: pay attention to delivery! Many users don't even look at this item. In general, different sellers on Aliexpress have different delivery options. Sometimes, there are free options with a very fast delivery speed, for example, in a week! So always check this tab.

By the way, delivery of goods may not always be free, as I said just above - there are many delivery options.As a rule, the faster one costs a lot of money. The most popular options:
- AliExpress Standard Shipping is the most popular shipping option (because it's free). Delivery takes from 2 to 4 weeks (on average), the goods can be picked up at the Russian post office;
- China Post Air Mail is also a free option, it may take a little longer. The goods can also be picked up at the Russian post office;
- ePacket 👍 - costs a certain amount of money (usually 100-200 rubles), used for small parcels. It will also come to the post office in Russia, but at an accelerated pace (I used to receive it in 5-10 days!). I recommend taking a closer look at this option.
What are the delivery options
The rest of the options often cost a lot of money, and they do not save much time. I nevertheless recommend looking into the delivery method tab - often there can be very "junk" prices, and the parcel can be received much faster than regular mail ...
❸ STEP 3: filling in the details (delivery address), payment for the purchase
After selecting a product, and pressing the button "Buy" Aliexpress will ask you for your full name, delivery address, postal code and telephone. You need to fill in the information in the Latin alphabet (for example, Alexander - Aleksandr; Ostrovsky street - Ostrovskogo, etc.).
Important: you must indicate your reliable information, because this is the address where your purchase will be sent.

❹ STEP 4: Review Your Order: Tracking Number, and Buyer Protection
All your purchases and orders can be viewed in a separate menu of the Aliexpress website: click on your profile in the upper corner of the screen, and select "My orders" .

- whether the order has been shipped: usually the order is sent a few days after receipt of payment;
- how many days until the order is closed: until this time expires, in case of a dispute, Aliexpress guarantees you receipt of the goods or money. Those. if you come to the post office of Russia (say), and you will be informed that your purchase was sent back (or was not sent at all, it was stuck somewhere in China), then the store will return your money! A kind of protection (in general, this is rare, but still ... where there is money, you cannot foresee everything). If the time is running out and you haven't received the parcel yet, just extend it;
- Tracking number: needed to track where your purchase is (you can view by day how it is delivered).

More about ordering
The tracking number is usually a list of numbers and letters in the Latin alphabet. It can be copied and entered on the website of the Russian post office (or another company that you have chosen for delivery) to find out where your package is.
Important: Not all parcels are sent with a tracking number. Sometimes, very cheap and small-sized goods can be sent almost in an ordinary envelope that does not have a tracking number (this, in my opinion, is the worst scenario ... It happens that such parcels are lost).

❺ STEP 5: We track the parcel and pick it up at the post office (or your chosen delivery service)
To track your parcel, copy and paste your tracking number (also called track code) on the Russian Post website (or another company you have chosen for delivery). Simply, mail is the most popular type of delivery, so I focus on it.

In order not to manually check every time where your package is, I recommend automatically setting up notifications to your e-mail (or even to your phone in the form of SMS).
