For example, not so long ago I needed an inexpensive laptop (preferably with a Full HD IPS screen), and which could work on battery power for at least 4-5 hours. The laptop sees them, moreover, even without connecting it to the network (the power supply from the battery is sufficient for connected external drives). I will add that now there are some Chuwi Lapbook models that support SSD drives. To do this, they have a special slot for the M.2 port. Some Chuwi laptops support M.2 SSD drives About video You can watch HD and Full HD videos without any problems (movies, videos, youtube - the laptop opens and plays everything without any problems). As for editing in Sony Vegas - you can edit the HD format, Full HD - Chuwi Lapbook will not pull (there will be freezes, brakes, in general it is not comfortable to work). About the sound The sound quality leaves much to be desired. Firstly, it is quiet, and secondly, when the volume is more than 50-60%, it starts to tremble and a "stutter" noise appears. True, I note that by connecting ordinary headphones, you can watch movies and listen to music quite normally (unless, of course, you are a music lover and do not expect something supernatural from the sound). About the battery In this regard, Chuwi Lapbook pleasantly surprises. One full 100% battery charge is enough to watch 6-7 hours of Full HD video. Those. roughly speaking, you can watch 3-4 films! With simpler work (for example, typing, or reading a book) - the laptop will work even longer. True, I note that the actual operating time for you can be very different from mine: it depends on the load on the processor, connected devices, screen brightness, etc. About the Internet Wi-Fi works fine, no complaints. Moreover, a very good adapter is installed in the laptop, capable of "catching" a Wi-Fi network even behind 2-3 walls (for example, for comparison, a Dell Inspiron laptop standing in the same room can hardly see the same Wi-Fi network as Chuwi Lapbook). Note that there is no Ethernet input for a wired connection in the laptop (some minus). About keyboard and work in Excel / Word / Power Point In order to print and work in the office - the capabilities of a laptop are enough! Note that sometimes there are slight slowdowns when working with large presentations. As for the rest, there are no particular complaints. No Russian symbols (stickers are included with the laptop) I will add that the keyboard is surprisingly well made. It is convenient to type the text even for a long time. True, there is no marking of Russian symbols (solution: you can buy a special sticker (often comes with a laptop). About installing other systems other than Windows 10 You can install both Ubuntu and Windows Vista / 7/8. Therefore, personally, I would recommend adding a little and buying a laptop from more popular brands: ASUS, Dell, Lenovo, etc. As for Chuwi Lapbook itself, it will suit you if you do not plan to render video, process photos, run resource-intensive applications (games, video editors). For a simple pastime in social. networking, reading web pages, watching movies - it will do just fine. Chuwi Lapbook 14.1 Pros: Inexpensive, very thin, lightweight, silent, Full HD screen. Cons: poor performance, no drivers for systems other than Windows 10, inconvenient touchpad (does not turn off when a mouse is connected), cannot be upgraded, poor sound, no Russian engraving on the keyboard. I will add that I regretted the purchase of Chuwi Lapbook as a whole, the laptop did not fulfill its task (and is not worth my money).Nevertheless, I decided to attach it for a video peephole: having installed a couple of cameras, now I see what is happening on the street near the house, in the entrance opposite the apartment (you can turn on the recording). Of the obvious disadvantages of Chuwi Lapbook: low sound quality (solved with headphones or external speakers), all components are soldered on the motherboard (that is, you cannot upgrade.
